One of our Best-Kept Secrets: The Top Down, Bottom Up Shade

Top Down, Bottom Up Woven Wood Shade by 3 Day Blinds.

A great thing about having your window shades custom-made is all of the design options available.  At 3 Day Blinds, we carry over 1000 materials that can be customized in 1/8″ increments in sizes from sizes ranging from 8″ to over 200″.  Then add in the different operating systems, decorative trim options and light control features, and the choices are almost infinite.

One of our most popular upgrades on Honeycomb, Roman, Pleated and Woven Wood Shades, is our Top Down, Bottom Up feature.  We asked Annie Butler, our top Texas Design Consultant, based in the Houston area why she recommends Top Down, Bottom Up Shades for her clients.

“I often recommend Top Down, Bottom Up Shades in bedrooms and bathrooms, where my clients want to maintain privacy below, but let in light from above,” says Annie.  “Often, they fall in love with this feature, and request it throughout their entire home.   Because these shades can be lowered from the top OR raised from the bottom, they are extremely versatile and work well in Texas, where the temperature and light can vary dramatically in a short time period.”

Annie works with each client to design the perfect window treatments for their style, budget and light control needs.  “In addition to the great design features we offer, I can always be confident that the products I sell will be of the highest quality, because they are made in the 3 Day Blinds factory, and we control the production.  My clients are often surprised that their custom blinds and shades can be manufactured to their specifications, and shipped the following day.  Most choose the professional installation that we offer to ensure a worry-free experience.”
