At 3 Day Blinds we sell blinds but we don’t turn a blind eye to the needs of our community. As a company we are passionate about service and support for where we live and work and for those in need, seeking to enhance the well-being of people and communities. We are proud that our contributions and volunteer efforts help create strong communities- check out how 3 Day Blinds gave back this holiday season:
Holiday Food Drive- Orange County Food Bank
This holiday season 3 Day Blinds teamed up with Orange County Food Bank, a local non-profit with a mission to provide necessitates to a network of food charities. Thanks to the generous donations from 3 Day Blinds employees we surpassed our donation goal and could not be more excited share these items with our local community.
Providence Health Services-Providence O’Christmas Trees
Giving back to the community extends beyond our corporate office efforts and many 3 Day Blinds employees are involved with a variety of charities and non-profits. For the past ten years, 3 Day Blinds Design Consultant Lisa Wise has volunteered numerous hours each holiday season to designing trees for auction, with a goal of raising money for Providence Senior and Community Services. The theme of all three events were focused on celebrating Jimi Hendriz. Collectively, Lisa and other volunteers raised close to one million dollars! Lisa stated, “it was a huge honor for me to be chosen to design this tree on behalf of Janie Hendrix in support of Providence Senior and Community Services.” 3 Day Blinds even got to play a small part in Lisa’s immaculate tree, the skirt is made from 3 Day Blinds Drapery fabric Casablanca Weathered.
3 Day Blinds is fortunate to have great employees who have integrated giving back to the community into their daily lives. As 2013 comes to a close, we look forward to the new philanthropic efforts our team members take on this new year.
