I am writing to express my sincerest thanks for customer service provided by Jean Gaitten at the Polaris Mall 3 Day Blinds store that went above and beyond. In today’s business/retail environment it is often the case that when you need to speak with someone about resolving a problem or getting something fixed, the helpfulness found when selling the product is long gone. However, my experience with 3 Day Blinds has been extremely positive for only one reason, and that reason is that Jean Gaitten was my contact person at the Polaris Mall store in Columbus, Ohio.
When we moved into our new house we chose 3 Day Blinds to measure and install blinds for our entire house. 3 Day Blinds was by far the most precise in their time spent measuring and had the best product, best price and best warranty. Jean was at the Polaris store at that time and I was always impressed that she knew me and my order as soon as I identified my name on the phone. Her attentiveness to the initial order was noted in my mind.
However, the purpose of this note today is to commend Jean for her diligent follow thru on a recent situation we had with one of our black out honey comb type shades. I will not go into details with the entire situation, but Jean’s follow thru was so detailed and precise that I never had a worry that at some point the issue would not be resolved. This situation could easily have caused me to get upset and furious with 3 Day Blinds and yet, because I knew that Jean was on top of the situation and keeping me updated at all times on what was going on, I did not get frustrated or angry. I do understand that things happen out of our control and Jean too understood that it was 3 Day Blinds job to stand behind it’s warranty and deliver a workable solution.
So often when I call a customer service line I feel like the person on the other end of the line just doesn’t have a clue. It only took a simple phone call to Jean, and then Jean handled all the rest with the California headquarters.
I am writing you today because had Jean not handled this situation as expertly as she did, and I had become an unhappy customer I most likely would have felt the need to say something. However, even though I did have a problem with my blind, I would not hesitate for a second to HIGHLY recommend the 3 Day Blind company to anyone looking for blinds. Things happen and any brand’s blinds can break or have something happen. However, it is the warranty and the PEOPLE behind the product that make the difference. Jean made that difference for me.
Also, we did order blinds for an entire house and have only had this one area of problem with the blinds so I think that is also a very good thing.
Thank you for having Jean as a member of your team. It has been a pleasure to be a customer of Jean’s at 3 Day Blinds and I will continue to recommend the Polaris Store at The Great Indoors to anyone in the market for new blinds.
