We are looking for a deserving individual from the Boston area that has an emotionally compelling story and/or has had a positive impact on the community in a unique way.

How to enter the “WOW” Window Treatment Makeover? 

To enter the contests you can visit CBS Local. Enter the required fields- including your essay on why you or your nominee should be selected as the winner. 3 Day Blinds will then select 5 entries based on the criteria noted in the contests rules. How long does the contest run?

The contest begins on Monday, October 7, 2013 and ends on Sunday, October 27, 2013. The contests is open to MA or NH residents who are 18 years of age or older. Five finalists will be selected for the public voting period beginning Tuesday, November 4, 2013 and ending on Sunday, November 10, 2013.

The widely agreed upon stereotype of the holiday season is- family, warmth, giving, receiving, joy, thankfulness, and feasting. That’s where my excitement for the holiday season stems from. On the other hand, less popularized notions of the holidays are- stress, uncertainty,  perfectionism, and exhaustion. Hence my feeling of anxiety toward the holiday season.

For me, the holidays mean opening my home to family and friends for our annual Halloween party, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve dinner. While I love having guests in my home this time of year, preparing my home for company be a bit overwhelming.
